The Greater Cincinnati Advocates for Darfur is a diverse coalition of religious and secular organizations that have come together to speak as one voice in order to help stop the genocide occurring in Darfur, Sudan. We do this through raising awareness throughout the Cincinnati area about the situation in Darfur, organizing some fundraisers for relief efforts, and promoting opportunities for the citizens in Greater Cincinnati to raise their voices and call for a lasting peace in Darfur.*

With more than 700 chapters at schools around the globe, STAND is the fastest-growing student anti-genocide coalition in the world today. STAND chapters actively organize to prevent and stop genocide wherever and whenever it may occur. In partnership with the Genocide Intervention Network, STAND's long-term goal is to establish a permanent anti-genocide constituency that holds elected officials accountable for doing all that they can to prevent and end genocide. There is a University of Cincinnati Chapter but the group has not been registered for the 2007-2008 school year yet. *
